Knowledge
is Light.
This is the idea the school was founded on — and the standard against which we shape learning, character, relationships, and the everyday experience of every child.
Our direction
Education should illuminate the mind, strengthen character, and help every child discover their own capacity to grow.
The Great Vision School
Learn with purpose. Live with values.
To develop the physical, intellectual, moral, and spiritual potential of every student.
We do not think of education as preparation for a single examination, or a single career. We think of it as the patient formation of a person — someone who can think clearly, act with integrity, contribute to their community, and continue learning long after they have left our classrooms.
The whole child, developed on four sides.
The vision statement is not a slogan — it names four specific dimensions of a person, each of which the school works on deliberately.
The body, cared for.
Sport, movement, and physical well-being are part of the school day — not extras. Children learn that a healthy body supports a healthy mind, and that effort and discipline are learned through the body as much as through books.
Sports infrastructure · Daily activity · Team play
The mind, sharpened.
Our academic programme follows the CBSE pattern in English medium, with an emphasis on conceptual understanding over rote learning. We want children to question, reason, and think independently.

The character, formed.
Values — honesty, respect, responsibility — are not a subject on the timetable. They are practised daily, in how children speak to each other, how they handle failure, and how they treat those around them.
Value-based education · Discipline · Responsibility
The inner life, honoured.
We take seriously the quiet dimension of a child’s growth — reflection, gratitude, a sense of meaning that reaches beyond the syllabus. This is the part of education that shapes how a person lives.
Reflection · Meaning · Inner clarity
How the vision is delivered, day by day.
A vision only matters if it shapes the ordinary school day. Our mission is the working answer to that — the commitments that guide how we teach, how we treat children, and how we run the school.
None of this is extraordinary on its own. Taken together, it is what makes a school a place where children want to be.
- 01
Holistic teaching
A curriculum designed around the whole child, not just examinations.
- 02
Value-based learning
Character formation woven into every part of the school day.
- 03
A supportive academic environment
Calm, organised classrooms where children can concentrate and ask questions freely.
- 04
Conceptual understanding
Depth over speed — reasoning and comprehension before memorisation.
- 05
Individual attention
Children are known by name and encouraged at their own pace.
Every school says it cares about children.
We are interested in what that actually means.
It means knowing a child by name, developing them on every side, and teaching them not only how to pass an examination — but how to live well.
